About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world! Meet new people and learn new things!

ABOUT ME

Hi :)
My Name is Jessica and I am travelling Australia with my boyfriend. We are heading home in May and have only just discovered the wonderful world of couchsurfing.
We are both relaxed, down to earth people who enjoy good company. We are thrilled to be in Australia and its a once in a life time experience which has given me the most amazing memories of my life!

PHILOSOPHY

To live simply :) I got this philosophy from a very close Irish Uncle of mine. He lives here in Australia and has taught me many things about life. He is an inspiration to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CS is a new thing for me, but I think its AWESOME! I have met incredible people. I hope that when I have my own place when I get back to the UK I will be able to meet these people again when they come and stay at my place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First CS experience was sweet! Met Hippy Dave who taught me many things about life. I hope to meet many more CS like Dave.

Interests

Travelling, Meeting new people, Music. I enjoy to always be on the move and experiencing new things in my life. Travelling has taught me to live simply and enjoy the small things in life :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Since travelling and having more free time I have been reading a lot more. I read all sorts of genres. I love the feeling when you find a good book, but feel so sad when the book comes to an end! I even tend to finish a book and start reading it all over again!
I love music. Being able to walk into a bar in Melbourne and watch people play nearly every night is a highlight of my trip. You will always see me with my headphones in when I'm busy working or cleaning. It keeps me concentrated. Music I believe is important in everyone's life as it can alter your moods. Whenever you are feeling down, listening to music will always help! A few of my favourite bands at the moment include City and Colour, Bon Iver, A Day to remember. I love acoustic music and envy anyone who can play the guitar! I hope when I get home I will have enough time and money to learn to play myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am quite well travelled and go skiing every year, so I have seen many amazing things. The Great Ocean Road was a highlight of my Australia trip. It was breathtakingly beautful! Living in Melborne was amazing also, I loved the vibe and the art that is present all over the city! There have been so many amazing things I have seen especially since being in Australia I could spend all day writing about them! I have much more to look forward too before I go home, including the world famous Great Barrier Reef :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm travelling to learn, and meeting people to learn. This whole experience is a learning curve. I hope who ever I meet may learn something from me.
