ABOUT ME

Restless nerd-deluxe-supreme. I've been living in Portland and loving this mossy dreamworld. Animation is a big part of my life now, I had been studying it and really enjoy stop motion puppet and set design, as well as 3d animation.

PHILOSOPHY

It would involve eating good food, laughing like a maniac, and never settling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Traveled the US for two months, stayed with some folks while revisiting loved cities and wandering new ones via bus and backpack. Also stayed with some lovely folks on my move from Boston to California.

I have slept on many a couch in my day and I always fold the blankets in the morning.

Interests

I'm interested in dancing maniacally to pop music, building a fort, and then reading a book under it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling alone across the country, and then moving across it shortly thereafter.

Midwest crusty kids throwing themselves at each other in the woods Wisconsin. First time tightrope walking in the parks of Minneapolis. Walking from Times Square to Northern Brooklyn watching the neighborhoods change. Dolores Park sunset in a Christmas sweater. Playing frisbee in an incredible tornado watch, and running around like wild dogs in between throws.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you how to build puppets, character sculptures, or animate in 3d. I'd love to learn better fort building and plant caring skills.

I might also be able to get you into eating raw kale and/or rice & beans hah.
