About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet people coming to NY for the first time!
ABOUT ME
Hi! I'm Jessica and I just moved back to NY after a year of living in Spain, where I worked as an Auxiliar de Conversacion teaching English in Extremadura.
PHILOSOPHY
I am still working on my personal philosophy but I try to be as open as possible to new experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
While I was in Spain I traveled a lot and a lot with couch surfing. It was an amazing experience and the people I met along the way and all of my hosts really made each place unique and unforgettable. Now that I am back in NY, I am happy to return the favor and host people from all over the place!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have traveled with couch surfing extensively. I´ve met incredible people and seen a lot of great places using couch surfing. Aside from that, I have also used couchsurfing for language exchanges and I´ve made amazing friends just through this!
Interests
I love to run, do yoga, and be active. I am also so happy anytime I can get in the ocean!
I love to eat but I am a vegetarian (but I have no problem with people who want to eat meat)! I love to cook, one of my favorite things about couch surfing is being able to share a meal with new friends.
I am interested in learning new things and I am down to talk about movies, books, art, music, politics, or anything with you!

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I am really into Tom Robbins right now. He is a crazy author with an insane outlook on things that really mixes fantasy and reality.
Movies: I like a lot of different movies...I am into documentaries and really think this question is hard to answer.
Music: I love fun, dance, pop music at the right times but I've also been listening to a lot of chill hip hop recently.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While living and traveling in Argentina, I took at trip to Patagonia. A good friend and I stayed in a small artists town at the foothills of a glacier. We decided to hike to the glacier with little information or preparation but it was one of the best things I've ever done. Once we reached the top of the hike, there was a small refugio where two guys welcomed travelers and offered them housing. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget!
Teach, Learn, Share
Even though I am not still living in Spain I want to keep practicing so if anyone wants to meet for a language exchange, that would be great!
