About Me

Hey there! I love people and learning about new cultures. I believe that all people are a part of a shared humanity and that nothing is inherently my own which is why I love couch surfing so much! PEOPLE ARE SUPER NEAT IF YOU JUST LET THEM BE AND ASK ABOUT THEIR STORY. the world would be so peaceful if we all just cared for individuals rather than thinking of people as a general populous.
I just graduated from university with a degree in religion and philosophy and I hope to go on to get my masters in social work. I was planning on doing that immediately but the current refugee situation really gripped my heart. I just got home from living in Greece for three months working with the refugees there.
I have traveled a lot in my life in the United States and abroad, but for the first time in my life my travel experience was not about me or for me, but entirely about serving the other and it was incredible.

I am hoping to come back to Greece very soon and continue volunteering.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed before with my friend Victoria all over the East Coast. I also was apart of a DIY punk scene so I have had plenty of punk kids stay in my guest room as they travel and tour. I have also done some mini tours and slept on lots of punk house floors. So I'm not hard to please.
I've truly enjoyed all of my traveling experiences, and have met some awesome couch surfers on the east coast who have remained my friends.
As well as couch surfing abroad throughout Europe last summer when I backpacked
