About Me
Gypsy on the Run
CURRENT MISSION: Take it to the streets..and beaches, and countryside, and...
Living, learning, and laughing are the most important things to me. I love the outdoors, photography, hooping and yoga. Currently I teach middle school science, which I have found is an amazing place to share my love of travel. I'm also a writer, photographer, and a former Thailand Beach Bum. I'm also really interested in experiencing other cultures and sights completely different from my own.
PHILOSOPHY: Go where the locals go (they know their city best).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING: I've hosted some travelers from other countries, and have done some couch surfing myself--its always a blast! I've also met some cool San Francisco people during the weekly meet ups!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE: Stayed with some kick ass people in Canada and the States, and I have had some chill people stay on my couch, they introduced me to Skype waaayy back in the day. Who knew? Meet-ups in Korea were also a lot of fun!! Helped me make some local friends when I moved overseas :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going to Peru to see Machu Picchu, words can not describe...
Also hitting up the Full Moon Party with my best friend...Best.Birthday.Ever.
Deciding to move overseas, multiple times: it's always worked out for the best.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn something totally crazy and so unlike me, just so I can step outside my comfort zone--I've discovered that's where most of the fun is. Learning about other people and places also helps me connect with my students. They are so curious and it helps to give them different perspectives (I want them to be great explorers and amazing citizens too!)
