I am an American living and teaching English in Italy. I'll likely be traveling and hosting with my husband Michele, an Italian screen printer and musician.

In my past life, I was working as a hairstylist and biking around in Portland, Oregon, USA. It was my home after a year of WWOOFing and living in an intentional community on the Big Island of Hawaii. I grew up in a midwestern American town, and now I am transitioning into a whole new life and culture in Italy.

I am flexible, adaptable, and grateful for opportunities to learn about a new place.

I have hosted folks in my home, and I have also done some couch surfing myself. I also like to play tour guide sometimes and show folks around town.

Intereses

I'm a real nerd about coffee! Trying a new interesting cup of coffee is always the first highlight of any trip to a new place for me.

I also really like to cook and bake. We are vegetarians (no meat, no fish) and we love finding cool veg spots in new cities.
We also really love cycling and we prefer to explore new cities by bike.

Even if we aren't in need of a couch to sleep on, let's meet up and share a bottle of wine or go out for beers in your city or mine!
