About Me
CURRENT MISSION
master Italian and FRENCH...a slow agonizing process!
ABOUT ME
Well I am an American girl, married to an Italian so we have this crazy, beautiful, cross cultural marriage going on. I love Italy, but Italian food more. I enjoy drinking wine, discovering new cheeses (Brie addiction currently unfolding) and trying food I think is taboo. I love running (ran my first marathon in Dublin 2011), reading, walking, sightseeing, animals and learning. I swear I could be in college for the rest of my life. I am struggling with French, I think learning this language is the hardest thing I have ever done! I love coffee, shopping and dreaming of future travel destinations. I have lived in Spokane, Seattle, Rome, Verona, Mons and now Valenciennes! I am very honest and tend to wear my heart on my sleeve.
PHILOSOPHY
Try to live as happily as possible, love as much as you can, keep learning and don't take yourself too seriously.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been an ambassador in Rome and in Verona but now I am taking some time off to concentrate on learning French. I try to host as much as I can, but I focus on quality instead of quantity in my CS experiences. I really examine profiles to determine if we would be a good match. But I am always here to give a helping hand!

Interests
Running: Marathons!!!
art: drawing, painting
exercising (this a new new interest and is a work in progress)
sightseeing
eating
wine
drinking spritz (preferably Aperol)
laughing
watching movies with Italian subtitles (in the hopes I learn something)
I have an obsession, you could say, with the 1980s. Even though I was born in 83, I think I was meant for that decade. I try to keep it alive through slang such as: Tubular, Bogus, Radical, Ace, Amped, Bangin', Betty, Bomb, Bounce, Chillin, Fly, Freak and Gnarly to name a few. If I had my way, the world would been seen through an acid wash filter, Rainbow Brite would be more than a Halloween costume, Alf would still be on TV and everyone's favorite pet would be a rock.
