Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To keep going- my feet on the ground and my eyes up to the skies.
ABOUT ME
I don't want to pre-empty your judgement of me so instead I shall explain what I like to do.
In the past I have worked in numerous different work settings from cosmetics, to bar tending to au pairing but none really grabbed me.
Now I am living in Kos for nearly two years, during the summer working as a hostess onboard sailing boats. The job is hectic, challenging but fun with clients onboard for weekly charters.
This winter I am continuing to build a boat together with my boyfriend (who is a well seasoned traveler). The mission is hopefully by next May, the catamaran is ready for sea trials.
In spare time, I love exploring the ins and outs of every new place, walking along coastlines, trying authentic food, learning from other cultures....and the list goes on.
PHILOSOPHY
'Every man wants to be happy but society expects him to be good. The thing is if he is good, then he is rarely happy, but if he is happy, he is always good!' - Oscar Wilde
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Woohoo! finally just moved to a new permanent apartment. Need to get a couch and all that. In the meantime I can meet with new people travelling in Kos and show them around.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Very difficult especially in Cornish waves!
Ah couch surfing though- only positive experiences, particulary the first time in Berlin and hosting some guests in Duesseldorf.
Interests
My main interest of all is living life to the full! I believe we have to try everything once. Apart from going to jail of course.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music varies from Coeurs de Pirate, Tiesto, Alex Clare, Ludivico, Woodkid, Ian Brown, Gorrilaz, Kings of Leon... Depends on the mood or situation.
Inspirational writers such as Sebastion Faulks, George Orwell... Also I like to learn from books too. The novel -"Shantaram' a true story, is easily one of my favorites, lots of philosophical quotes and descriptions of India.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing a complete rainbow on the Aagean Sea.
Spending time by the Ganges in Rishikesh.
Teach, Learn, Share
How to make a thai curry from scratch.
Still perfecting the technique of a cup of cocao.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking tips in a small kitchen as I have just spent this summer working on a sailing boat!
A great card game especially for backpackers!
