Overview
About Me
I'm interested in humans. I travel to meet and share minds, to learn and to teach. I'm about partway through an undergrad program in which I'm double majoring in studio art and philosophy. I am particularly interested in couchsurfing as a network for travelling because I appreciate visiting a place with people who call it home and having an opportunity to meet some good humans. I think networks that provide opportunities to encounter simple person to person exchanges rather than cash exchanges contain important lessons and can offer humbling experiences!

Music, Movies, and Books
Some books I've loved include Tolstoy's War and Peace, Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet, Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching, Aldous Huxley and Hemmingway in general, Sherwood Anderson, Jack Kerouac's Dharma Bums, Patrick Rothfuss' series, and I've recently started reading the Dune series :o! And Rumi, Bukowski and Rimbaud are some key poets.
Gummo, Amelie, and He Died with a Falafel in His Hand are some favourite feature-length films. Corporation and The Century of the Self are some key docos.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Running around a mountain called the Acropolis in Tasmania, adorned only in jewels, in the fashion of my primordial self (monkey). No idea who was around, likely none but me and pure moment and knowing I was entirely distanced from civilisation and any means of getting to it other than walking by a fifty kilometre radius! Ahhh the Air There
