ABOUT ME

I'm an easy-going person who loves to talk to anyone about anything. Traveling and meeting new people are two favorite things in the world. Eating is a close second because I love trying new foods, especially dessert. My sweet tooth is insanely bad. I'm just an overall fun, open minded and relaxed person looking to make friends all over the world and experience new places and cultures from a local's perspective.

PHILOSOPHY

I have a lot of philosophies that I live by, but they can all be summarized by the fact that I don't want to live with regret. I want to live every moment to its fullest, chase after all my dreams and grow up to be this super cool elderly lady with awesome stories to tell all the young people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am pretty new to the CS world in the sense that I haven't gotten to try hosting or surfing yet because of extenuating circumstances. I am hoping to change that soon! Unfortunately, I can't host anyone right now because I am living with a Spanish family in exchange for teaching English to their children, and they don't allow me to have guests. For now, I am totally available to meet up just to hang out with anyone who comes by my city. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I tried to find a couch surfing host for my most recent trip to Rome, but unfortunately couldn't find anyone since it was high season for New Years. I haven't done much traveling since then so I am still looking to get my first real couch surfing experience!

Interests

Traveling, writing, photography (or improving my photography I should say), meeting new people, dancing (currently considering flamenco classes) and trying new things, especially new foods!

Music, Movies, and Books

The Alcehmist is by far one of the best books I have ever read, but I love other Paulo Coelho books too. I'm currently trying to read books in Spanish to get the extra practice.

As for movies, comedies are my favorite followed by action. I have a love-hate (mostly hate) relationship with romances and I can't watch horror films because I appreciate the few hours of sleep I do get and don't want to jeopardize that.

I love all kinds of music as long as I can dance to it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen and done many amazing things in life, but some of my top memories are from studying abroad and now living in Spain and when I went skydiving for my birthday four years ago!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been working as an English teacher for about four years now so anyone who wants to practice their English with someone who is patient, understanding and can even correct you if you like, then I am the right person!

I am still learning Spanish so anyone willing to practice with me would be really great too!
