I HATE self-summaries. No matter what I write down I always feel like I completely misrepresent myself.

Besides, as High Fidelity tells us, it's not what you're like, but what you like. . . so here are a list of things I'm interested in. . .

PHILOSOPHY

Living Authentically basically sums it up.

It is so important to me that I feel that I'm genuinely living the way I want to. This means fighting for what I'm passionate about, and truly helping people.

I am VERY passionate about women's rights and LGBT rights, which I think are very much connected to begin with.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I created this on a whim because I needed a place to stay when I visited grad schools.

While I can't offer a couch at the moment, I would love to again in the future, and I like to surf when I need to travel for random adventures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to have a negative couchsurfing experience (knocking on wood right now). It is amazing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first thing that comes to mind is seeing the Mayan pyramids in the Yucatan. A very humbling experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am great at working with kids. I've worked with at-risk youth and it has been an amazing learning experience.

I am trying to bring activism to my community, and I would love to learn from someone on their experiences in activism.
