I was once described as being a "happy maker" and I think this is an accurate representation of who I am. I enjoy smiling, laughing, hugging, and connecting with other people. Everyone has a unique story and I am eager to hear as many stories as I possibly can.

I'm currently living out one of my biggest dreams in life thus far. I moved to Ukraine from the US in September 2016 to teach English with the Peace Corps. Prior to this, I had never lived or traveled outside of the United States. Every day is a new adventure for me. I am enjoying learning more about myself and this beautiful country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love people's stories. All different, and all beautiful in their own way. I think it's important to connect with other people from around the world because it allows us to see and learn and understand each other's experiences. It also allows us to relate to one another, be brave enough to say 'hello' and then maybe create a relationship that would have never existed without such a platform.
