I suppose I'm a typical couch surfer: I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, sharing food or drink, learning about local history or customs, and swapping travel stories. Couch surfing and hitchhiking are my preferred modes of travel, and I love camping in the mountains. I'm always down for an adventure or new experience!

My boyfriend James Young ( https://couchsurfing.page.link/ci7FZenp4R6wpFYq5 ) and I live in a one bedroom apartment in Beacon NY. Beacon is a cute, artsy town along the Hudson river about 60 miles north of Manhattan. We are one mile from the beacon metro north train station, and three blocks from Main St Beacon.

We can offer our living room to travelers, with an air mattress to sleep on. The living room doesn't have a door but we can hang a curtain for some privacy.

We have a 13 year old dog named Ozzie that we ask you don't touch without our permission. We will kennel him as needed during your stay. He's a calm dog that never barks and loves cuddles but we want to be extra careful.

James and I will happily provide rides around our work schedules and if you're the social type we can show you around on our time off. If you're looking for some rest and privacy we don't mind letting you have your space (we get it, we've been there). You can freely use our kitchen and bathroom we just ask that you clean up after yourself. We have some food and toiletries for public use if you're in need.
