About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I quit my engineering job September 2016 to travel the world, make friends, and live a simpler less stressful life. In November 2017 i had to get a new job starting in December, so this is my last adventure before heading back to work. Tiffany will be my travel buddy this trip. She is 33, probably the coolest chick you'll ever meet, way cooler than me ;) haha. She's a gunnersmate for the US Coast Guard. Yeah.....sounds pretty cool i know. Moral of the story: you'll have two intelligent ladies not airheads to talk to if you host us.

ABOUT ME

I love to try new things, have great experiences, and make new friends. I'm currently hopping between Sydney Australia and Oahu, Hawaii, USA where my new job is. I would love to travel to South America and get lost in a completely different culture for a couple years one day.

PHILOSOPHY

Live. Laugh. Love.

Live for today.

Laugh often.

Love unconditionally.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I'm TECHNICALLY homeless living between my friend's couch so, I can't host :( BUT as soon as i start my new job, you bet ill be having my couch open for visitors.

I have been surfing through Europe and Australia making life long friends along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My favorite couch surfing experience was in Amsterdam. My host was crazy fun, he took me on the adventure of a lifetime. I hope he comes and visits in America!

Since I wrote that I have had so many more amazing experiences. I truly miss each and every one of my hosts. Couchsurfing is bittersweet. I make such great friends then have to continue on and leave them behind.

Interests

I love puppies, hiking, drawing, great architecture, modern art museums, the beach, coffee, traveling... the list will never end.

I am really interested in learning new cultures though. I would love to experience every culture in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I recently discovered TripleJ while travelling in Australia, who knew radio could actually be good and not repetitive BS. haha

I like typical american party music, great rock and roll like Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, and 90s punk rock.

Papertowns, Looking for Alaska, and Girl on Paper are a few books my boyfriend and I have read aloud to each other. Book suggestions welcome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to New York over 100 times, its amazing.
I built homes in Mexico for needy families.
I have flown across the world for 6 months with no plans. I traveled for 8 weeks straight out of a backpack.
I quit my engineering job to travel and find a love for life again.
Fate will take me where it wants.

Teach, Learn, Share

Its hard to say what I can share. I guess it depends on the people I will meet. I would love to learn about other people's way of life, how their environment effects their mindset, and who they are.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my cooking skills, my playful sense of humor, and terrible relationship/life advice.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Mexico, Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Austria, United States
