ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Jessica Swirtz. I am a recent college graduate from the university of Minnesota who has spent the last year working in the corporate world and volunteering in the non-profit world. This past year I read The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and discovered a life changing quote: " I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again" and that's what I am doing. It's not that I am doing anything irresponsible or unfavorable, I am just ready to live for more than a paycheck. I am ready to make a difference no matter how miniscule. I am just as laid back as I am hardworking. I don't see the point in doing something if you're not going to do your best but I also think the most gratifying thing in the world is sitting around sharing stories with people you've just met. I am not really sure what I am looking for, or what skills I can bring to the table, but I am a fun, energetic and positive person excited to live life and discover what adventures are left to be had.

MUSIC

I love everything! I think music is an insight to culture and listing to genres from around the world open your eyes to new experiences. When I am at home I typically listen to Modern Country, Popular Music, or Alternative.

MOVIES

I'm not going to lie, I love romantic comedies, I just have a thing for the funny plots with a love interest twist. I also really enjoy scary movies and action movies. Some of my favorites are; The Breakfast Club, Lord of the Rings (and The Hobbit), He's Just Not That in to You, The Ugly Truth, Harry Potter, The Matrix, The Kings Speech, Good Will Hunting, Pulp Fiction, and many others!
