ABOUT ME

Keegan and I are from Kansas City. We got bored and so we moved to Kiev, Ukraine to teach at an international school. We have done so many new things this year and met so many great people! Both of us are open-minded people who love to meet people and experience different cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

What you give is what you get back in life. I guess it's an old saying, but "treat others as you would like to be treated!"

Since we have lived in Kiev, we have been hosting more people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At this point, we have surfed twice and hosted many times. All were great experiences.

being with people, all kinds of music, reading, running, teaching, travel, being on the beach!

Keegan and I also visit the orphanages here frequently. We have fallen in love with many of the children and are in the process of trying to adopt a little girl. We have set up a non profit website to showcase the orphans' art and help fund a couple of the orphanages we work with.

I love all kinds of music. I usually read fiction. I love to watch an occasional movie, but usually prefer to do it laying on the couch :)
Keegan would be in the theater several times a week if he could!

Traveled to Petra, Jordan. It is an amazing place if you ever get the chance to go.
I also ziplined in the jungle in Guatemala. I won't even climb a high stepladder, but somehow I made it through the terror of jumping off many platforms 200 feet in the air. Don't know if that is amazing, but I am amazed I lived through it :)

We love to talk with people and learn about their life. People have amazing stories. Wine and drinks don't hurt either!

I used to play the flute 4-5 hours a day and have a performance degree, so I can teach you some flute if interested.
We are just beginners in Russian, but it is always fun to try to talk to other people in Russian. We can teach you basic phrases. If you know Russian we will just make fools of ourselves and we are ok with that too :)
Keegan also loves photography and cooking. Keegan has cooked for several of our guests.
