CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to see the world. I used to have an apartment in San Diego where I hosted a few couchsurfers but I packed up everything into a storage unit and am staying with family. From this homebase I'm planning 3 month long trips to various parts of the world. So far for 2015 I have planned Iceland in September, New Zealand in October, Australia in November, and Fiji in December. I'm looking to just go somewhere and find what I'm supposed to be doing there by being there :).

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm an educated, independent, self-employed, world traveler. I love experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. I am really easy going, it's hard to riffle my feathers. I'm clean and considerate and thankful for everything that amazing people have done or will do for me in this life. I am lucky enough to fall in love with people and families in every country I travel to. I've been "adopted" by so many families that I consider myself very lucky. I LOVE to keep in touch with people I've met from all over the world. I've even hosted people I've met in other countries at my place in San Diego, CA on a few occasions. I use facebook to keep in touch while traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a couple people in San Diego, CA that have become fast friends. I haven't yet surfed much, but I hope to change that when I travel soon.

Intereses

Música, películas y libros

I love action movies like the Marvel movies and stuff like Lord of the Rings. I am probably a bit more on the geeky side of things. I really like Harry Potter and other fantasy or sci-fi movies.

I like all kinds of music, except country music. :) I love music in fact. Very rarely do I ever work (I'm a graphic designer) without having some kind of music in my ears.

I read a lot of books in the fantasy genre. I'm a kid at heart! I have read more books than I can count. I tend to read really fast so I get through them quickly. I don't enjoy reading non-fiction but anything else, I'm open to recommendations! Some of my favorites have been the Outlander Series, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Dresden Files, and the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

I think building a school house for an orphanage in Uganda is one of the most amazing things I've done in my life. Second has to be learning to scuba dive and seeing the world that lives under the oceans. When I'm underwater, I feel alive.

I would love to share my travel experiences and photos with you. I have been to over 35 countries and have some really good shots from some of them.

I love to cook and learn local dishes. I'm actually a really good cook. I grill, sauté, and even bake sweets for dessert. I travel with my recipes on my phone so I'm never without.

I would LOVE to learn some of your favorite recipes or dishes native to your area. I love watching different ways of cooking or even different ways of living. I'm like a sponge when it comes to learning. I want to take it all in!

I am a master at Photoshop and the whole Adobe suite so if you need any assistance in learning one of those programs, I've been using them as a graphic designer and photographer for over 13 years now.

I'm also a professional photographer and I would love to take a portrait of you, your family, or pets to say thanks for letting me stay.
