About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world and learn as many languages as I can!
ABOUT ME
I studied abroad in Florence last year and loved Italy so much that I needed to return. So I did, in the beginning of June to work at a summer camp in Italy called Lingua Senza Frontiere, teaching Italian children how to speak English.
During the training week in San Remo I met so many people from all over who have been/lived in so many places and/or spoke different languages as well. I love meeting new people and learning about their cultures.
I didn't have my trip planned when I first came over, I just knew that after the three weeks of work I would be free to travel wherever. Since I like to live spontaneously, I decided not to book anything and play it by ear, which has been the best decision I could have made.
I ended up traveling with the different friends I made through the camp getting suggestions about where I should go and what I should do. I met people who lived in the UK that invited me to stay with them, which was truly the best part of the trip because I got to see what their life/culture is like straight from the source.
I'm finally at the last part of my trip where I won't be with the friends/family that I have here in Italy or the friends that I've made over the last 2 months. I liked staying with my friends in the UK so much, that I'm hoping to be able to do that now that I'm coming to France.
After seeing what couch surfing is really like (through the website), rather then the few things I had heard in passing, I am now really excited to have this experience. I would love someone from the city to show me the city, or at least give me their advice and then I'll do my own thing.
I'm sorry that I don't have time now while I'm traveling to really make this page show you what I'm like, but if you have facebook and want to see my profile that way, just ask!

I'm trying this out for the first time! Can't wait to have this experience!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have never couch surfed before but I've heard nothing but great things about it. I really hope that I will find a way to couch surf in Paris, because to me, that seems so much more fun then staying in a hostel with a bunch of other tourists.
Interests
I love traveling, meeting new people and learning about different languages and cultures. And I like having fun and laughing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So about a week ago or so I was driving with my friend Amy through the countryside of Wales. The weather kept switching from being cloudy to rainy, and back and forth. All of the sudden as I'm looking out the window I see a BEAUTIFUL FULL rainbow. It was a full half circle and it was absolutely gorgeous. I had only seen rainbows a few times before, and it was never that big or full.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English, or basic Italian. I can talk about the culture in Italy for hours. I've learned a lot about Italy from living here and staying here a second time. I'm on my way to becoming fluent but I've got a long way to go. I want to learn about the different countries, cultures and languages of the world. Right now Europe interests me the most, but I do want to see as much as I can.
This idea of surfing being a sharing experience rather than just a bed to sleep on really interests me.
