I'm 24 years old and I'm about to go on my first trip out of country. I'm always looking to have incredible experiences and enrich my life with new amazing people. I'm passionate about art, animals, and reading. I feel that the written word is one of the most beautiful forms of expression on the planet and I'm grateful for the ability to learn from others through their words. I think that life is precious and to be treasured. Perfection is obviously not attainable, but I believe in always doing my best. Time is a precious commodity of which we have little and should use wisely and I do my best to infuse my time with things and people that I love. I'm open minded, adventurous, accepting, and compassionate. If you don't know me... get to know me. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started on this website. I'm mostly looking to couchsurf myself, but when I have a home that is set up and established I would be more than happy to reciprocate by hosting travelers as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm currently backpacking through Europe and I have to say that I love this site. I feel like I have a friend waiting for me in each new city I go to. Getting to see life through the eyes of a local is incredible. Kudos to whoever had the idea to invent couchsurfing. The experiences and friendships I've made through this website are absolutely priceless. I can't wait to get home and host myself so I can return the incredible hospitality I've been shown.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sigur Ros is an amazing musical experience that I'm madly in love with. I also enjoy classic rock, EDM, the occasional country song when I'm feeling southern, Alternative, and Emo because I love how whiny it is.

Movies that have stirred my soul are V is for Vendetta, Donnie Darko, and Fight Club. I've also enjoyed the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Snow White and The Huntsman, The 300 movies, Hunger Games, Charlie St. Cloud, and others.

Books are my best friend, and I've read way more than I could ever live here. The major life changers were A New Earth Awakening to Your Life's Purpose by Eckhart Tolle, The Seven Habits of Highly Successful People by Stephen Covey, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, The Dark Elf Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore, and Flags of Our Father by James Bradley.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I picked up and moved across country leaving everything behind except my dog and the little bit that would fit in my car. Not knowing anyone where I was going or exactly what I was going to do I made a fresh start on my own and created a beautiful life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn of other people's travel experiences and the most beautiful natural places on Earth. I'm also interested in different languages and would enjoy learing those as well.

In my experience I've learned that a Raw plant based diet is optimal in terms of health and longevity. I can teach people about healthu lifestyles and compassion.
