About Me

I am a person with many contradictions. But that does not make me any less of a good person. I am dedicated and love to learn new things. I take every opportunity that is offered to me because experiencing life is a blast. Challenges are a great way to learn and move forward, and a grand thrill...I don't really know what else to say, but I hope this sheds some light on my personal being.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am an avid traveler and believe that the best way to travel is to learn about life and cultures. The differences between cultures and ways of life are fascinating and one of the best parts of travelling. Understanding that although we are all human, we are all unique based on our personal experiences and where we grew up. I love to meet people from around the world and experience their way of life and their passions. Couchsurfing is a great way to meet people and live in different cultures, not just observe them from the outside, but live them from the inside.

Interests

I am fascinated by the world, and the people in it. I am an artist, mainly photography, contemporary art and cinema. Though all art is of a certain amount of interest to me. I love reading both fiction and non-fiction, mainly psychology and biographies of criminals (quit fascinating to try to understand their way of thinking). I have many more interest, but these are the main recurring ones.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love classical, indie and alternative rock music. I also listen to quite a bit of classical music. I've seen so many movies and read so many books that pin pointing my favorites would be a feat of its own. I like dramatic, true story kind of movies (not the hollywoodized, romantic twists). I love fiction books, fantasy worlds, in which I can escape reality. I also like criminal biographies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The word amazing will mean different things to different people, it could be a trip to Australia (which I visited at 16) or directing a short film with a crew of 30-40 people to keep in line (which I was selected to do my last year of cegep at 18) or many other things. So amazing can be many different things, I don't know what I did that is amazing to others, but I am proud of many things that I have done which I consider amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a bit of French or English (If you do not speak the languages). I can teach you about photography or cinema. This will all vary depending on discussions.
I can learn a great deal from a simple experience. A bit of a language, a bit of the culture and way of life. And anything else that I don't know, i am always willing to learn new things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories and adventures of my travels. I can easily share my passions...but to be honest I don't know what I can share that would be fascinating or interesting. (It will depend on what we discuss).

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, France, Mexico
