Overview
About Me
I was born in Perth, then when I was four my parents decided to make the move down to a beautiful coastal town called Esperance. This is where I grew up with with my Mum Dad and older Brother and I am so grateful for that. Esperance is an isolated but beautiful town, everyday I am still blown away when I look out to the ocean and by how cleansed and refreshing I feel after diving in for a swim. I am still currently living in Esperance working in retail saving some money for then next chapter in my life (that probably being some environmental study and/or some more travelling) . I have already done a fair bit of travelling overseas myself, most times I have gone solo which has been such a learning experience also so incredible . I love everything nature and would call myself someone who is very down to earth. I grew up surrounded my nature and animals on a five acre block of land with my family. Lastly, I'm a pretty easy going person who loves being spontaneous and also has a good work ethic.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Using couch surfing can for sure be a way to travel more sustainable. I think its great to meet the locals in the place you are in to get a deeper insight on that place, to build connections and friendships and to be given local advice and recommendation on things. The locals know best!!
Also its a great way to save money when travelling, money saved in accommodation can be spent on other experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is probably folk/ grass roots but I love a lot of other music too. I don't watch a lot of movies and TV these days but I love films that are funny, light hearted or inspiring. I love to watch documentaries. I haven't really read many fictional books but I do like to read for information.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmm I'd say volunteering in Thailand for the World Wildlife Foundation Thailand. Here I got to wake up to the sound of elephants every morning and met so many wonderful humans and so many amazing rescued animals. I worked my butt off and felt so exhausted in the humidity some days scrubbing bear poo off the floor and at times felt unappreciated by being weed on by gibbons first thing in the morning hahah, but seriously it was so rewarding at the end of the day and wouldn't take it back for anything.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to teach/suggest to people how they can be more environmentally sustainable beings and I love to learn other ways I can be too. I love learning about my health and well-being and also about the natural world, its so fascinating. I want to make a positive impact on this world while I'm here in all kinds of ways.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My open mindedness, friendliness, kindness, respect, my helpfulness (helping to clean and cook), food I've got, my time to talk to get to know you and time to spend loving your pets if you have any.
