About Me

Just another inquisitive human in this fish bowl of a world. I absolutely adore travelling and meeting fellow non-robot humans who can hold a conversation that extends beyond superficial small talk. I'm currently spending three months in Cambodia for a university placement working with children with disabilities. I enjoy copious amounts of pickles and red wine (yes, a combination worth your while) with a side of soft cheese.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Upon my return from Cambodia, I would like to spend a couple of days in Sydney to regroup and become re-accustomed to our extravagant way of living before heading back home to little ol' Radelaide.

Interests

I enjoy eating weird traditional food, busting out saucy tunes on my trusty Roman ukulele, adult colouring although is there really a difference between adult and child colouring? Colouring a picture of big bird seems just as appealing, does that mean I should say I like child colouring? This is such a confusing issue! I also swim regularly in the bath with lots of red wine and pickles (they are seriously so great!).

Music, Movies, and Books

Absolutely loooove Nina Simone and Ella Fitzgerald such amazing jazz goddesses. Also, just recently acquired my very own darling record player so would love to strike up a quirky conversation about must have vinyl essentials, I'm a newbie help please! In terms of books I'm real corny and love a soppy Mills & Boon romance or a good old Jodie Piccolt heart breaker tends to do the trick. If all else fails, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy never disappoints. I love swapping books so if you're interested hit me up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived the streets of Amsterdam on New Year’s Eve, that's pretty amazing right?!
