Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have very slim couch surfing experience. I have only crashed on one couch and did not really have a large amount of time to spend with my host due to the short amount of time my friend and I were there. Most of my travel experience consists of me being involved in tour groups, such as Contiki. Though tour groups are great and you can meet some wonderful people, I would like the chance to switch things up and stay with locals. They usually seem to take you off the beaten path and take you to unique places you don't see in the tourist magazines.
