About Me

Hey,
I'm a friendly, easy-going 30year old Aussie girl who loves travel, learning, cooking, yoga, natural health, movies, books and the water.

I'm very passionate about health, I've have been a vegetarian for 15 years.
I try not to make a big deal of it and think I succeed pretty well in not making it difficult for people who I live or stay with. I am independent and always manage to work something out with food. So not really a fuss.

I love spending time in countries and getting to know the people whilst learning and experiencing the culture.

I think I am pretty easy going and enjoy meeting new people. I'm always trying to stay positive in life and see myself as a happy, friendly person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As yet, I haven't couch surfed but am looking forward to trying it.

Interests

Travelling (of course lol)

Exploring new cities.

Learning or studying about new topics, cooking, yoga, holistic natural health, movies, photography, the theatre, books and the water.

Relaxing and hanging out on the beach is definitely a favourite of mine! Maybe some stand up paddle board, snorkelling and kayaking as well.

Watching movies I always enjoy. Could be from Hayao Miyazaki asian movies to Blockbusters and art house in between

Music, Movies, and Books

There are so many great books out there but the one I most loved when I was younger was The power of one by Bryce Courtenay. Jean Sasson who writes biographies/novels about Middle Eastern women has some amazing books also!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing thing or probably the scariest would be bungy jumping off a bridge in Zambia, Africa. I'm not very fond of heights but I like to test myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess one random skill I have is I can maintenance peoples dreadlocks- I had a boyfriend who had dreadlocks and I had to maintain them once a month (they look sooo much better with this being done!)

I am very interested in nutrition & health. I have completed a couple of courses & researched a bit on it, so I am always happy to discuss natural health.

Also if anyone is interested in cards- I love to play and enjoy teaching/learning new card games!
This year I just completed my yoga teacher training course in Costa Rica so I'm happy to do yoga with anyone.

I think I'm a pretty good cook also. I love entertaining and cooking for people so would be more than happy to do this.
