About Me

Sort of a 'I could live everywhere'-type of person. Lived in Spain for 5 months, in Italy for 2 months. Definitely planning to do internships in France and Spain next year, plus trying to write my master thesis in Japan. Also going for social projects to Russia and Italy, again. Love to go to art galleries, reading, watching movies and going to museums. Language nerd with a weakness for Asian food and culture. Tennis player and kinda workaholic: Studying my Master of Science in Market and Media Research while working two jobs and supporting executive boards which are helping international students to come to Germany for an internship. I was vice president for this program last year and helped 26 young people to start their lives in Germany and it was the most awesome experience.
Currently working on trying to see the positive sides in every situation and self-management like taking care of myself and prioritising and not stressing out too much.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't feel to comfortable with hotels, it just somehow feels excluded from the real side of the country - it just shows you somehow a bubble of its best presentation. Also, I try to avoid AirBnb if possible, because it has kinda a negative impact on the flat market for locals. Only hostels left, which I think are a nice thing but mostly you will interact with other internationals (which is really fun most of the times, except if they snore ;) ). So, couchsurfing for me is the perfect way to get to know local realities, gain a deeper understanding for the country and its culture and a way of getting in touch with people who most probably have the same mindset and interests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going abroad to study in Spain for one semester, living in an Italian host family with the best host mum ever, being in Japan for two weeks, having two smaller siblings

Teach, Learn, Share

Stories about fascinating young people changing their lives and mine, favourite experiences from my semester abroad - in general nice talks, I guess. I can play the piano and help with languages.

I like to learn more yoga flows and more vegetarian recipes :) And more about photography, I just started with it

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am pretty good at cooking risotto or making tiramisu, also I can try to teach you languages - or at least learn them with you. Furthermore I can help with the household or walk the dog :)
