Overview
About Me
I go to Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, class of 2017. I'm a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) major. I'm 19 years old. I have 5 siblings, and 4 of them are adopted from Ethiopia. I want to learn all the languages, but sadly this is not possible. Currently I am attempting to study 3 languages at once...we'll see how this goes. I love sports, but my favorite by far is basketball. I also love photography. For those who know about Myers-Briggs Personality Types...I'm ESFJ, with a pretty strong Extroverted and an extremely strong Feeling hahaha :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It seems so super cool. Hopefully I'll be able to do it when I'm in Europe this summer (2015)!

Music, Movies, and Books
All the music...I classify my music by language, with the main categories being: Korean, Spanish, Amharic (Ethiopian music), English, Hindi/Telugu (Indian music). Basically in that order for the amount I listen to of each.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ran (and finished) a half-marathon in summer 2014, even though I'm a really slow runner and I've always hated running!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I'm studying to be an English teacher, so I can always help with English if anyone has questions :)
Learn: I'd love to learn how daily life is lived in a regular household of someone in another culture.
Share: I hope we can share experiences and stories about our lives and get to know each other at least a little bit!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Like I said before, I am more than willing to help anybody out with English. I'm going to be traveling with a Korean friend of mine, and I'm sure she'd love to help if anyone is learning Korean! We are both willing to share about our cultures and lives :)
