ABOUT ME

My name is Jessika just because my parents loved that film "Who Framed Roger Rabbit". I was born in Goiania, right in the heart of Brazil in a region famous for it's country music, beautiful nature, awesome food and nice people. I am now living in Brasilia, the national capital of Brazil, in order to graduate in International Relations from the University of Brasilia. I may consider myself a typical Brazilian: outgoing, sociable and nice. It is difficult to find me in a bad mood. Really love to make new friends and I am passionate by getting to know other cultures. That's what I enjoy the most in doing Intrnational Relations since I have already studied with people from Costa Rica, Cape Verde, France, USA, Sudan, Japan and Nigeria, all of them who came to Brazil in exchange experiences. Must confess I am a little anxious and want to get all things done at once but I am really trying to improve myself at this.

Be curious to understand other people's culture, interests and behaviour and you will find it easier to respect them even though you don't agree with what they think or do.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just joined the couchsurfing and only surfed once, in London. Just thought the idea simply amazing, a great way of making friends and actually getting to know other cultures.

Interessen

Love dancing, talking and watching movies. Above all pets I really love my cat, Sinatra. International Relations and all those stuff related to the UN have also been a passion. Today I am really amazed about studying a bit of politics and travelling as much as I can while I am in Europe.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favourite movie is definitely Moulin Rouge, which has started my passion for musicals: Burlesque, Chicago, The Phanton of the Opera, Black Swan, Dirty Dancing, Step Up, Flashdance, Grease, Mary Poppins, Miss Saigon, August Rush and all the Disney ones. I've made a recent agreement with my dad and we started a project to watch the maximum of bestsellers we can.
Music is another passion simply because it is the necessary condition of dancing which I really love! Anyway, I am terrible in associating the names of artists to the musics they play or sing.
Books are the best companies for anytime since I have become a fanatic for the Harry Potter series. Love brazilian literature such as Machado de Assis, Mário de Andrade, Jorge Amado, Manuel Bandeira and many others.
