About Me
I live in LA and have been here 10 years.
I'm getting a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from UCLA. I'll be applying to get my MSW in the fall. I work with probation/foster youth and formerly incarcerated adults. Some organizations I've worked with include: Aviva Family and Children Services, Optimist Youth Homes, 2nd Call, Timelist and the Youth Justice Coalition.
ENFP
My sense of humor skews towards the politically incorrect, weird, silly : )
I love reading stories on Longreads (favorite blog)
I like true crime podcasts and movies
I'm happiest in nature - in a river, on a mountain, no cell reception.
Outgoing, easy going, curious, open minded, adventurous, and all those other awesome adjectives!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I couch surfed in Europe 10 years ago. It was a great experience! Unfortunately, I've always had roommates who did not feel comfortable sharing our couch, so I've never been able to host.
My best friend and I are road tripping from NY to Vermont, Montreal, and Maine from August 11 to the 25. We are looking to couch surf in Burlington and Portland if possible. With the exception of Montreal (hostel), we'll be camping otherwise. Let us sleep on your couch and show us your city?!?! Otherwise, have any suggestions of where to go? We want to be hiking, in rivers, in swimming holes, on lakes, sea kayaking, etc. What's the most beautiful places?!?
