About Me

- CURRENT MISSION -
I recently put in my notice at my job. My plan is to sell most of my possessions, pack up a bag and travel around the islands and coast of BC for a few months. I'm not too sure where life will take me after that.

- ABOUT ME -
I grew up on a farm and moved to the city for a change, it's been fun but it's time to get out of the bubble of familiarity I've come to be in. I am really just looking for a life experience. I want to be able to enjoy my days here with the freedom to do what I want and meet people who have similar mindsets. I'm just ready for an adventure. I am a very down to earth creative type and In my spare time I play music, do photography, write, make art, and am in nature whenever possible. I love to enjoy life.

- PHILOSOPHY -
Life is short, we never know which one of our days will be the last. I don't want to look back on my life wondering “What if”. Really... it's simple, you just do what you want to do and make the most out of whatever situation is thrown at you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on here because I want the opportunity to meet new people.

Interests

- PHOTOGRAPHY -
I've been doing photography since about the age of 10. This year I began my own company called Lone wolf imagery. My favorite part of it is being able to capture the essence of someone in a candid moment or to be able to show the way something made me feel at that time.

-WRITTING -
I've been writting ever since I can remember. I have about 13 journals from over the course of my life. I also like to write poetry, songs, insights, and whatever decides to come into my mind at that time.

- MUSIC -
About a year and a half ago I began to dedicate myself to really starting to learn how to play guitar and sing. For the first time In the last year I have done about 6 open mics. Music was always something that I had dreamed of doing, now I am branching out into that world slowly. I currently live in a house full of mucisians and my life IS music... always dancing, always at shows, always around people jamming. It's what makes me most happy.

- ART -
I have always been an artist. I love to draw, paint, make jewlery, sculpting, clay work, wood carving, stone carving. I am just creative in general. If I have an idea, I will make it happen.

- NATURE -
Nature is where I feel most at home and grounded. I love to garden, adventure, and just be within it.

Music, Movies, and Books

- MOVIES -
Big fish, Enternal sunshine, Almost famous, Into the wild... and so on

- MUSIC -
I am a bit of a music nerd. I like all types from alllll over the place. My heart is really with the old stuff though... So hard to catagorize this. Blues, soul, funk, folk, rock, old country...

- BOOKS -
Anything insightful that I feel like I can take with me into the future. I love people that are real and tell it like it is. My favorites right now are Charles Bukowski and Hunter S Thompson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to a show one day and the creator of the event told me that they liked my vibe and invited me to tag along to a festival with them and help set up the stage. Next thing I knew I was in an RV on my way to this experience not knowing a single soul. I helped set up the stage and got to be a part of the whole process and made a lot of amazing friends/expereiences that week.

Haha, wasn't to sure what to put there?
