About Me

I'm a pretty down to earth person and always up to try new things. I work hard and play hard. I love reading, and I'm a MASSIVE foodie, and I can't function as human being without coffee. I love people, although I admit that at my core I'm a bit of an introvert. I'm a sun worshiper and I enjoy road trips, hiking, the beach, roller derby, skiing, scuba diving, camping, and just about any kind of outdoor activity, as well as writing, learning new crafts, or sitting on my porch swing with a cup of coffee and watching a thunderstorm.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh geez... this question is too daunting to fully tackle quite yet. My taste is pretty eclectic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Growing up my parents made sure we were always doing incredible things. They were truck drivers for awhile so I spent a couple years traveling around the US with my sister. Amazing stuff was always happening. For me, the most memorable was when I was 6 our boat sank in the Gulf of Mexico and we had to swim to shore. Oddly, the experience just heightened my love for the sea.
