ABOUT ME

I am a traveller, an eternal optimist, a friend, a writer , a daughter, a sister, a fitness professional, a lover, an extrovert, a photographer, a motivator, a dreamer, a goal setter, a silver lining seeker, an educator, a student. I’m goal oriented, happy and outgoing, I need to be challenged and independent, I love meeting new people, laughing, sunshine and ice cream , I have a zest for life, a passion for new experiences, I live in the moment with no expectations and the belief that there are no limitations. I strive to “actively participate in every moment of the creation of this life,” on this journey and beyond.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I have been more or less travelling, working and living my dream for the last 4.5 blissful years, including South and Central America, Indonesia, Bahamas, india and Nepal! I am currently still travelling and when I do finally settle into my own place, I will be more than keen to give back further to the CS community as I have had some amazing experiences!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Brazil and Argentina proved to be my favourite CS countries whilst away! I have had some awesome interactions and meet-ups with the CS crew in Melbourne, Colombia and Ecuador as well. Looking forward to getting involved in CS in Nepal asa well!

Intereses

Yoga, Travel, writing, meeting new people, photography, health and fitness, socializing with friends new and old, hiking, paddle boarding, dancing (not very well;) inspiring others, learning about other cultures, scuba diving...the list goes on!

Música, películas y libros

When it comes to music, I love a good variety! Anything from old school rock to, new hip hop, dance, and cultural but most likely to be listening to Indie. My favorite books are definitely The Alchemist, Eat Pray Love, and The Bronze Horseman, but I would LOVE some new recommendations! And as for movies, I admit, I am total closet chic flick girl! What can I say?!

-Spent more than a month in yoga ashrams in both India and Nepal training and living the yogic lifestyle!
-Safari in the Serengeti, Tanzania
-Sailing the San Blas Islands from Colombia to Panama!
-Scuba diving and snorkelling in the pristine waters of the Galapagos, Ecuador; Providencia, Colombia; Zanzibar; AND the Great Barrier Reef, Australia!
-Trekking throughout Patagonia, Argentina (and Chile)
-Won a holiday to explore Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
-Went off the beaten path hiking in Milford Sound, New Zealand.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I'm an open book; anything I know or have experience with, I'm happy to teach/share:) From yoga, Fitness and nutrition, to Latin American travel I would love to share my experience!
I would LOVE to continue practicing Spanish and would love to meet more like-minded travelers from around the world! I am most interested in learning more about the culture and traditions of the country I am in!
