About Me

CURRENT MISSION

REALLY learn Chinese...to the extent where I can live and function in China on my own

ABOUT ME

Just finished my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Been working non stop during the pandemic, fully vaccinated, excited to see ppl and the world again!

PHILOSOPHY

If you don't do it today, you probably won't do it tomorrow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted when I lived in NJ, played tour guide while in CA an have surfed in Germany and Hawaii, and Maryland.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couched surfed over seas and domestically and everyone has been great. I've hosted fellow surfers and it was so much fun. I love the stories people share! Couch surfers are unlike other travelers, they have this openess and excitement that follows them.

Interests

I love dancing, (ballet to ballroom), tennis, traveling, but not the tourist traveling, I like to visit local places, like the post office or library so I can see how life REALLY is in another country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled a decent amount monstly in the past two years mostly done alone (a little scary but absoutely amazing!)

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone! Seriously!! After being part of a sorority and traveling I realized how much you can learn from people regardless of if you get along with them or not. I believe that there is good in everyone and each person brings out a different piece of ourselves- so the more people you meet the more you learn about the world and yourself!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have an extra bed in my room and a couch in the living room. I am always up for showing people around NYC and NJ. My home is comfortable and quiet, but it is a bit of a distance from NYC. I commute every day for work, so it's not THAT bad, but most people find it unpleasant =(

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belgium, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
