ABOUT ME

24 year old female from New York area, graduated Oberlin College May 2010. Love food, co-operatives, travel adventures, and music. I've traveled throughout Argentina, and to about eight countries in Europe. I know some Spanish, know some French. I've been living in West Philadelphia since July 2011, and I am proud to say that I know it better than any other city!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the idea of this so much, and want to always contribute so long as I am able to. hospitality is alive and well!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed with three different members so far in the U.S. (Chicago, and North Michigan), once in Munich Germany, and I can't wait to couchsurf again! My traveling experiences were so much better by meeting these couchsurfing people! I think this network is one of the best things the internet can offer.

Interests

Bowling, movies, concerts, reading, frisbee, tennis, crafts, bike rides, puzzles, camping, living parsimoniously. Beer, cooking, farming, pottery, climbing mountains, freeing my mind.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now, I really like woody Allen movies, books by Kurt Vonnegut, and the velvet underground.

Teach, Learn, Share

"esoteric knowledge and practical skills"...I could always use some. I love this skillshare aspect of the program!

I know how to make harpoons out of antler bones...I'm sure that's rare to find.

I also know how to...cook, crochet, drive, speak French, play tennis/frisbee, use SPSS, the basics of farming and gardening... if you find any of this esoteric and/or practical, I'm your girl!

Countries I’ve Visited
