About Me
ABOUT ME
I have a kind of technological phoby that's why writing a profile is a hard work for me. Further, I am quite sure that only a few people are reading the profiles ;)
Ok except this fact (and the fact that I don't have Facebook or a Smartphone), I am quite a normal person...
So, I am an eternal student: publishing/library studies, philosophy studies (because I wanted to find the reason of the universe), and now spanish philology studies (because at the moment I am very fond of languages and civilisations). I work as a translator free-lance because it's not possible to survive just of knowledge! I left France a few years ago to come to Berlin and I am glad that I found a city that allows me to leave as I want.
PHILOSOPHY
I have had some mystical and extreme metaphysic time (since then my vision of the world is close to the one of Spinoza and Schopenhauer and I still like doing some spiritual stuff in the nature) but now I have to be realistic because I live in a city and I work as everyone to survive. That's why I enjoy meeting new people, that's a way to be in the reality.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As I like speaking foreign languages, I am happy to have people of other country in my home and to learn about their own culture. Through them I can see my city like for the first time.
When I travel, like everyone, I think it's better to meet people of the country to make the trip human. Just travelling and take pictures makes no sense for me (but yes I know, it's not always easy to find people!).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCES
I travelled with a friend of mine during two weeks from Poland to Budapest with Couchsurfing. Our first stop wasn't really planed, and we would have slept in the street of Frankfurt/Oder if nice couchsurfers wouldn't have saved us, at the last minute...
Since then, I did couchsurfing in Italy with another friend of mine, also great memory.
Last year I meet two of my actual really good friends because my boyfriend Felix and I hosted them at their arrival to start a new life in Berlin. That's why I am really glad that this website allows this kind of connexion between people.
Interests
I like learning languages and naturally speaking them (that's the biggest pleasure!). I like writing, that's why I am still studying at 27 years old (that's the way I can still learn things and write other texts than marketing texts).
I like walking around a city, walking, walking a lot, and hiking in mountains.
Now I am really interested in Latin America Studies and Colonial Studies (and I plan a stay in Argentina to write my these).

Music, Movies, and Books
I like the movies of Jean-Luc Godard, especially Pierrot le Fou. And also the movies of Emir Kusturika.
I don't have a particular favorite music. It depends of the moment. I've already had an interest for rock, jazz, classical music, traditional music, gypsy music, electronic music etc... I'm open to everything.
As I was a bookseller I read everything (from documents to thriller), I am curious.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A lot, naturally ;)
I don't know, maybe when I decided to stay and live in Berlin
And all the nice places and people I discovered when I was travelling (Europe and Latin America)
