To explore as much of South America as possible while I am here!

ABOUT ME

I want to love and live as much as possible, travel and meet new people. I am going to South America in October this Fall, it will be my first trip out of America! I am so excited! Right now I work for Community CROPS, a non-profit here in Lincoln that helps people to grow food for themselves and their community, it is pretty great! I also bartend at Marz bar to save $ for my trip. I draw, paint, sing sometimes, drink beers and ride bikes with pals. Life is amazing.

PHILOSOPHY

Love is all that matters, life will strip away the layers of me if I let it revealing the innermost core of myself. Everytime life breaks your heart it grows that much bigger and stronger.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined and since I am renting a room at my brother's house I don't have a couch to offer at this time. I would love to meet for coffee or a drink if my schedule permits. I am excited to become more familiar with CS as I learn better how to use it and am meeting fellow CS's in South America.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Living life and enduring human drama while still loving learning and living more each day is pretty amazing i think. Also going on my first trip to South America is awesome. I used to sing for a band a couple years ago and we got booked a last minute spot in a show with 500 teenagers who subsequently booed us at the end, it was balls out enough to get on a stage in front of that many people, but how hilarious is it also that these girls threw a water bottle at me! I left laughing, if I can be booed by 500 kids and still smile I must be doing pretty good.

I have some beginners to intermediate gardening knowledge, though it is based on Midwestern climate zones. I have drawn and painted (not professionally however) for years. I am a great listener and have a huge capacity for empathy and understanding regarding human experiences.Basic cooking skills, I kinda don't always know what I have to offer til happenstance shows me, if that makes sense. I would love to learn more about herbalism!
