ABOUT ME

Here I am today filling out this profile in hopes I can fight off the boredom of temporary unemployment and panicking about my career path with friendly strangers and random adventures.

(UPDATE: I'M EMPLOYED! I wrote this at 21, I'm 30 now. I've landed a 9-5 gig as a desk jockey doing marketing in the music industry. I love my job, I couldn't be happier).

I like to consider myself an outgoing and friendly type who likes to put herself out there and get to know new people! I'm hoping this site will allow me to meet travelers who are looking to explore the city of montreal in which I will more than happily assist in. I like to consider myself in the know of what's hip and fun in the city ;)

It's a trap to hang out with me. If you're not into cheap beer, heart attack inducing foods, random adventures, meeting new people and just generally dealin' with my goofy self then perhaps I'm not the one for you! ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've personally never been couchsurfing however have met many other couchsurfers through friends who have hosted before.

Intereses

I'm an ex rugby player who loves video games, reading, dorky stuff like star trek TNG and south park and listens to angry girl music. I'm hoping to find someone here who enjoys playing smash bros.

UPDATE from 27 yo me: I guess I haven't really changed much though I like to think I've diversified a little more.

Though 9-5 that lands me as a desk jockey, 5-9 I'm a rock collector, wannabe photographer, amateur shitty haiku writer, a spotify playlist hipster, wannabe be guitar-player, passionate home cook and hobby collector.

I have an amazing cat named Mr. Pickle I adopted just 2 years ago. He's perpetually on a diet and let me tell ya, he's a heffer.

Music: as mentioned above, I typically define my tastes as angry girl music. I am open to everything and anything though - music is a big thing in my life! However to get a good idea, I can list bands: Joy Division, the Smiths, Hole, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Queens of the Stone Age, Blind Melon, Beach House, Bad Brains, Best Coast, New Order, Japandroids, Pavement, WAVVES, Modest Mouse, Sonic Youth, Mac Demarco, LCD Soundsystem... List goes on. Maybe if you enjoy any of those I already know we're going to get on wonderfully! Let's check out a live show!
