About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To forcefully broaden my horizons

ABOUT ME

I would have to say that, first and foremost, I am amused. I rarely fail to see the humor in any given scenario, which tends to make me pretty easygoing. It's not so hard to stay calm when plans go awry if you can appreciate the story you'll have to tell later.

PHILOSOPHY

Laugh when you can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host and surf, depending on my circumstances. I can offer surfers a comfortable full-size sofa bed and bedding. I'm pretty busy with law school, so I can't always play tour guide. If you're fine entertaining yourself, our place could make a good crash pad. I will definitely try to get at least a meal or drink with you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Totally revolutionized the way I travel.

Interests

In law school, I hope to focus on Internet law, specifically how best to strike a balance between personal privacy and cyber security.

While traveling, my absolute favorite thing to do is to glimpse what life is like for the people who live in the places I'm visiting. Whether in the United States or abroad, I have always gained a deeper appreciation for a city when staying with a host.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once a baby raccoon crawled out of a bush toward me. It was purring and whimpering, soliciting me to care for it, which I later learned is what they do if they've lost their mother. Immediately, a strong maternal instinct took hold of me. I clutched the potentially rabid animal to my breast and brought it home, where I nursed it back to health with a special formula I found on the internet. I've never before felt such an intense and spontaneous urge to care for something.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you all about purchasing round-the-world airfare, which can really be an amazing deal if you do it right.
