Overview
About Me
I'll probably never grow up. I'm basically still the little girl who doesn't understand the adult world, who wants to do what comes to her mind when it comes to her mind and who's really bad at doing "reasonable" things. I'm a hippie by heart, a punk by soul, raised as a borgeouis :) I enjoy nature a lot and can be totally overwhelmed by a great scenery. I can be quite introverted and absorbed in thoughts or i can be talking, laughing and drinking with people all night, depending on my mood. I'm afraid of almost everything (heights, small spaces, spiders, airplanes (!) ...) but currently working on stretching and leaving my comfort zone. I'm definitely a night owl. Which also means I'm a morning grouch. So having dinner with me is usually more entertaining than having breakfast ;) I'm always interested in hearing other peoples life stories and travel experiences and sharing mine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet fellow travelers and friends of mankind, with huge hearts and souls, to share stories, friendship and wine, to welcome and feel welcome.
Actually I joined CS in 2009, together with my former boyfriend and we hosted about 150 people in Munich and loved it a lot.
Not sure if this tradition can continue in my new old hometown and if there are any tourists at all, but IF you are a traveler in this beautiful yet not really touristy area I'll be glad to share my home, couch, food & wine with you :)
UPDATE: I'm now living in Ludwigshafen, it's a big apartment, but unfortunately only 1 couch for 1 person or space on the floor or - if you like to sleep under the stars - on the balcony. Pictures will follow soon :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Arizona Dream, Before Sunrise, 127 hours, Into the Wild, Lost Highway, Mullholland Drive, Dead Man, Night on Earth, Submarine, Moonrise Kingdom, Inglorious Basterds (and basically all Tarantino movies), Eagle vs. Shark, Me and you and everyone we know, Dancer in the Dark, Mary Poppins.
Music: Handmade. With heart and good lyrics. Or without lyrics. Calm, relaxed or noisy in a good way. And mostly not played on the radio. Too many different artists to list them here.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling 8000 km in 30 days, through 10 countries with an old police VW van (Germany, Austria, Italy, Greece, Albania, Turkey, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia) and falling in love with Albania, its people and landscapes.
Teach, Learn, Share
I play the violin and some other string instruments, have tried to learn the guitar for ages but never really succeeded because my impatience was in the way. So I can teach you how to get some squeaky sounds out of the violin and you can teach me the guitar - or patience (the latter would be worth much more I guess).
Countries I’ve Visited
Albania, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, England, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Macedonia, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Vatican City State
