About Me

Hi, I’m Jesús.
Originally from Honduras, currently living in Poland — a little far from home, and intentional about the connections I make.
I’m a chef working at a Bib Gourmand restaurant, with my path naturally moving toward Michelin standards. Food has shaped my life and taken me across Italy, Dubai, and different cultures and kitchens around the world. It taught me discipline, curiosity, and how much meaning can live in simple moments shared at a table.
Outside the kitchen, I enjoy thoughtful conversations, travel, learning new perspectives, and creating content that’s more about honesty than perfection. I value depth, presence, and people who are comfortable being themselves.
I’m not here for casual dating or endless small talk. I’m open to real connections — the kind that grow through shared values, mutual respect, laughter, and time.
If you enjoy good food, meaningful conversations, and the idea of building something genuine, we’ll probably get along just fine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe travel should be about people, not hotels.
I host whenever I can because I know how valuable it is to be welcomed into someone’s home when you’re exploring the world. For me Couchsurfing is about cultural exchange, sharing meals, stories from the road, and creating friendships across borders.
When I travel, I hope to experience places through the eyes of locals the same way I try to offer that experience to others.
