About Me

Hi everyone I’m David, I’m a MSc student at University of Bristol in UK. I’m proudly Colombian and I’m sure I’ll add some latino joy/flavor to our encounter. I’m traveling now through the Uk while I do my masters and meeting new people. I’m very chill adaptable and sociable.

My priority rn is my masters but I love techno so from time to time I love attending some good raves. People say I cook delicious and I love reading and connecting with nature. Love hiking and working out. I’m down for a coffee, a pint or whatever let’s grab one!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m traveling in the Uk but it’s quite expensive to afford places to stay. I’m a good companion so hey, why not exchanging that for a good experience and whenever I’m back in my country or in Bristol you can come over and will make sure you have the time of your life there.

I’m very open and sociable so we can meet and hang out and spend some time.

I love history so I’ve read all the trilogy from Harari. My fav book has to be either Homo Deus/ the unbearable lightness of being by Milan Kundera. Also Rayuela by Cortázar is another stunt.

Fav movie is Dallas buyers club.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked in the Rio Olympics 2016 as the head of translation in the Olympic village. Lived w famous athletes and it was a life changing experience. Afterwards I taught English in Brazil and ended up backpacking through all South America

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m a teacher yes. I teach language and economics. Back in my country I taught the 3rd grade and it was the best experience. Now I want to go further and change policies to foster equity and accessible education in poor countries. I think that my knowledge is responsible to aim other’s less fortunate well being so I encourage you to do the same and make out of that your living premise: it’s very rewarding!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m a good listener. Prob not the best advice giver but I do open my ears if you’re ever in need. I’m a great companion and quite salsa dancer so I can show you some moves? Idk haha. Feel free to contact me whenever you’re in Bristol for the next year and I’ll show you around because yessss.

I’m very tidy and organized so that’s a plus
