Overview
About Me
I’m passionate about music, plants, chess, traveling and meeting people from different backgrounds. I love discovering new perspectives and learning from others — it’s one of the best parts of traveling.
I enjoy music from the 70s, Japanese artists, and unique voices like Joni Mitchell or Kate Bush. I also collect vinyl records and love deep conversations about art, life, and culture.
I live by the philosophy of treating others the way I’d like to be treated, showing compassion, and not taking things personally. I’m curious, thoughtful, and sometimes I notice details others might overlook — which can make me seem a little quirky at first. But I promise it usually leads to interesting conversations and shared laughs!
When I travel, I like to live like a local: tasting local food, exploring hidden spots, and soaking in everyday life. In return, I love sharing my culture, stories, thoughtful conversations, and sometimes even cooking some Mexican food for my hosts.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing has given me something money can't buy: unforgettable memories. I’ve met amazing people along the way and truly value the experience of connecting with locals. It’s always enriching to learn about their lives and hear their personal recommendations for discovering the best of their city. These connections are what make travel so meaningful for me.
Interests
I love learning about all kinds of topics and having conversations that help me understand how other people think — it’s a great way to expand my own perspective. I enjoy playing chess, listening to music (sometimes a bit unusual but full of emotion), exploring new places, watching anime, and spending time with my cats.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I’ve done is help create a social program in Mexico City to support young people facing high-risk situations. Through this initiative, I worked with public, private, and civil society partners to provide new opportunities for more than 4,000 youth. Over 70% of program graduates were able to reconnect with school or work. It’s been incredible to see lives change and to build a network of people all committed to empowering young people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m excited to share more about Mexico’s culture—its vibrant food, rich customs, and warm-hearted people. I adapt easily and enjoy discussing a variety of topics, from lighthearted conversations to deep, reflective dialogues. I believe that teaching and learning go hand in hand; both are essential for connecting with others on a meaningful level. I find great value in sharing perspectives on life and exploring new ideas together, as these exchanges help us grow individually and as a community.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Time is the most precious gift we have, and I can assure you that we’ll make the most of it by sharing experiences together. I’m excited to create meaningful moments, exchange ideas, and learn from each other. I also love to cook and would be happy to bring a taste of Mexico to your home by recreating some authentic dishes. I look forward to making our time together enjoyable and enriching for both of us.
