About Me

I live by the philosophy of treating others the way I would like to be treated, showing compassion for those in need, and not taking things personally. I’m always eager to connect with people who share similar values and to learn from the diverse experiences life has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has given me something money can't buy: unforgettable memories. I’ve met amazing people along the way and truly value the experience of connecting with locals. It’s always enriching to learn about their lives and hear their personal recommendations for discovering the best of their city. These connections are what make travel so meaningful for me.

Interests

I really enjoy listening to music, especially on vinyl, as I love the unique sound it offers. I also like playing chess—it's a fun way to challenge myself. Cooking is another hobby of mine, and I’m always excited to try new recipes.

In my free time, I love hiking, meeting new people, and exploring new interests. I believe there’s always something new to discover, and I enjoy the adventure that comes with it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Kate Bush, Masayoshi Takanaka, Tatsuro Yamashita, The Alan Parsons Project, Steely Dan, Joni Mitchell, Blondie, Arctic Monkeys, Strokes, Depeche Mode, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is establishing a social program in Mexico City to support Opportunity Youth facing high-risk situations. Through this initiative, I successfully engaged stakeholders from the public sector, civil society, and private companies to provide new and improved opportunities for over 2,000 young people. Thanks to these collaborative efforts, more than 70% of graduates were able to reconnect with educational or employment opportunities. This program has not only positively impacted many lives but also strengthened a network of partnerships dedicated to empowering youth in vulnerable conditions.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m excited to share more about Mexico’s culture—its vibrant food, rich customs, and warm-hearted people. I adapt easily and enjoy discussing a variety of topics, from lighthearted conversations to deep, reflective dialogues. I believe that teaching and learning go hand in hand; both are essential for connecting with others on a meaningful level. I find great value in sharing perspectives on life and exploring new ideas together, as these exchanges help us grow individually and as a community.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Time is the most precious gift we have, and I can assure you that we’ll make the most of it by sharing experiences together. I’m excited to create meaningful moments, exchange ideas, and learn from each other. I also love to cook and would be happy to bring a taste of Mexico to your home by recreating some authentic dishes. I look forward to making our time together enjoyable and enriching for both of us.
