About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Figure out what to do with my life

ABOUT ME

After not having a permanent "base of operations" I moved to Budapest to start a MSc in order to get some stability in my life. Now I have been living and enjoying this city for 4 years, time flies!

I am a friendly and easy-going person :)

PHILOSOPHY

"Carpe diem".

I believe that, as our time in this world is limited, we should live it to the fullest. In the end, we regret more the things we didn't do than the things we actually did.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it is an amazing way of meeting people from other cultures and discover things that are usually overlooked by tourists

Interests

Travel, Learning languages, F1, Geography, History, Photography (I just bought my first DSLR)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kinds of music, but I think my favorite genre is Indie rock, bands like Interpol, Franz Ferdinand, The Killers are amongst my favorites. I also like electronic music, all kinds of it. When it's time to party anything is good.

As for books, I like classics, and modern classics. The epics of Tolkien written in "The Silmarillion" are my favorite ones.

Also, a great travel book is Nick Hunt's "Walking the Woods and the Water", which follows (kind of) the journey of Sir Patrick Leigh Fermor from the Hook of Holland to Istanbul in modern times. Definitely a must.

I also LOVE the poetry of the Uruguayan poet and writer Mario Benedetti, and I hope one day to visit Montevideo.

To prove that you read my profile answer this riddle if you request to stay with me. "What can run, but never walks; has a mouth, but never talks; has a head, but never weeps; has a bed, but never sleeps?" No answer = no response from my side. It doesn't matter if you get the riddle right or not.
