ABOUT ME

I am a 30 year old man born and raised in the San Fernando Valley part of Los Angeles.
It was always my dream to travel and see different parts of the world but work always stood in the way of that.
I recently started a new job that allows me the time and the means to travel.
my new found travel bug has made me want to explore and see new places and meet new people!

I hope to see more and more of the world a little bit at a time!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first heard about CouchSurfing years ago and was always amazed by the concept. I just never imagined actually doing it.
I've met many fellow couchsurfers and have shown them around, or recommended places to see, drink, eat.

I go to concerts frequently and I love music of all genres.
A few favorites:
The Beatles, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Johnny Cash, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, The Gun Club, The Velvet Underground, The Raveonettes, Depeche Mode, The Everly Brothers, Frank Sinatra, The Smiths, The Clash, Hank Williams, The Cure, Social Distortion, The Pixies, The Stone Roses, PJ Harvey, and so on.

Films:
Pretty much any Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson or Martin Scorcese films are among my favorites!
But I'll list a few:
The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Godfather I and II, Django (the original), The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.

Books: Jorge Luis Borges, Miguel De Unamuno, I'm a sucker for Spanish existentialist literature!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have visited my ancestral land of Mexico on a few occasions and have climbed the Aztec pyramids!

I am extremely respectful and am willing to help out around the house. Any chores or market trips, I will gladly do my part. I can offer you my good sense of humor and great conversation!
We will definitely laugh a lot! Probably drink a lot! And more than likely eat a lot!
