About Me

The bachelor currently consumes most of my time, but as I am currently in Germany as part of an Erasmus exchange program, I'm learning a lot about foreign cultures and expanding my horizons, after only a few months living outside my hometown I think I beging to understand how big and how small the world can be. The (little) free time that i have I split it between reading, hiking and, more recently, cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Music is hard to say, I change what I listen from time to time. Currently, you might catch me listening to Sabaton one day, a Fugue of Bach the next, and some Electro Swing the day after.

Favorite Movies is much easier: I can watch and rewatch Dr. Strangelove, the Star Wars Saga and, I know they are no "movies" in the strict meaning of the word, some animes and, of course, Doctor Who.

Favorite Books well, now we get to a delicate point, I have read a lot and enjoyed most of what I've read, but I think the best of the best would be the A Song of Ice and Fire saga (yep, the Game of Thrones one), Shogun (from James Clavell), 1984 (from George Orwell), Fahrenheit 451 (from ray Bradbury), the Foundation saga (from Isaac Asimov) and the Scipio saga from Santiago Posteguillo. It's my guilty pleasure to read every Star Wars Story that comes out, be it canon or not (and believe me, there are quite a few).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I've benn hiking for some years now, and I've been near death a couple of times (mainly because I was not paying attention where my feet were), but the best experience I had so far was making a chunk of the Santiago's Way, a hiking route that goes from France (even from Germany, but that's another story) to my homeland of Galicia. I made roughly 300 km in 13 days, and the people I met and the experiences I had will stay forever with me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love history, I am quite a nerd of certain periods, namely the World Wars and the history of Galicia and Spain, so I am always interested in having a nice chat about any historical time.
