Hello everyone! I am Jet and I grew up in the Netherlands in Gouda (city of cheese ;)). My passion for traveling started when I was 17 years old. I went to Norway for one year to a Folkhogeskole. This trip showed me so many different perspectives and how amazing traveling is.
Right now, I am traveling around the world overland or overseas. So without flying because of the carbon emissions. It's an interesting journey :). I started in the Netherlands and at the moment I am in Iran, amazing country! I want to go to Southeast Asia (Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgystan, China, Vietnam) and stay there for a while.
Most of the times I travel slow, I don't like to be in a rush and volunteered in many places (hostels, guest houses, boats, eco camp, retreat centers, families). I am more interested in the people and the lifestyle than in all the touristic attractions. So, I really like to meet locals, get a glimpse of your lifestyle. Traveling is the best education in my opinion because it makes me think all the time, my perspectives on a lot of topics changed and I am learning new things everyday!

Love to hang out with people, having good conversations and have some fun ;-). I am open minded and always curious to others and love to experience new cultures.
