ABOUT ME

So, this is me, I am kinda new on CouchSurfing. I'm Jet, at the moment 21 years old and busy with my master Linguistics. But when I don't have classes I love to travel. Furthermore, when I do have to stay at home because of normal life, I love the studentlife. So I hang out with my friends, party with them or just relax. I like to believe that I've found the ultimate balance between enjoying life, have fun and getting somewhere by developing myself.

PHILOSOPHY

There is a saying in Dutch which is my favorite, translated it is something like 'you already have 'no', but you could get 'yes'' (in Dutch: 'nee heb je, ja kun je krijgen'). It means that you always should go for what you want, why be shy or don't try, while something great could be..? Just ask/do!

Music, Movies, and Books

I studied BA Dutch Language, a part of that is literature, so I've read a lot of Dutch books. I love movies, but absolutely no horror! And no scary thrillers, otherwise I don't dare to watch (oeps). I love watching all the typical 'woman'series. And I like a lot of music, it depends more on the song than the style whether I like it or not.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

went to South America this summer, alone. Had no clue how it would be and never traveled alone before, but met a lot of great people and had the time of my life!
