ABOUT ME

I'm doing my PhD at Ghent University. I used to be a junior researcher at the Institute of Applied Research of Vilnius university and have spent most of the time in the labs or reading. Enjoy good food, hiking trips and good company.

PHILOSOPHY

I do not like to expose myself as a giant nerd so quickly, but I have been provoked by the name of this field, so do be quick to judge.

I believe it is impossible to summarize my (or any other persons for that matter) essence in several sentences. We are too complex to understand, so it is hopeless to even try to say something condensed and at the same time meaningful. However, we can try to understand ourselves and people around us. To achieve this, (besides a myriad of other things,) I try to learn more and am trying to not to be judgmental.

Reading, natural science, traveling and photography. Last is kind of ironic if you noticed my profile picture, but this is entirely due to laziness.
