Hello. My name is Jevon Cochran. I'm 28 years old. I was born in Detroit, Michigan in the U.S., but I have lived all over due in large part to my mother having been in the military throughout my youth. I currently live in the Bay Area, in Oakland, CA. I recently graduated from UC-Berkeley, where I have a B.A. in Latin America Literature. My interests include writing, poetry, photography, food, activism, politics, music, and traveling (obviously lol). I am an up and coming travel blogger. I'm on Couchsurfing because this would be a useful resource for traveling on a budget. Currently, I am unemployed and working on developing tech skills in order to become location-independent and break into the digital nomad world. That being said, it's better for me to seek free and low-cost accommodation while traveling. I also have an apartment in Oakland that I can make available from time to time.
