ABOUT ME

Traveling is something that has shown me that love, connection and humanity are oh so present in this world.
I was born in Austin, Texas, USA, which has been dubbed as The Live Music Capital of the World. My favorite places in Austin are Barton Springs Pool, Barton Creek Greenbelt, Lake Travis and Hamilton pool to name a few. The hill country of texas is our gem.

I have lived in the Czech Republic and worked as an English teaching assistant.

I currently live in Sydney, Australia and have lived here before in 2009 as a study abroad student. During that time I loved travelling from sydney by car throughout the area to the north. I would like to explore South Australia and Australia's west coast this time around.

I love learning about permaculture, world religions and having conversations about current issues etc. I also enjoy singing, dancing, writing, painting, drawing, cooking and spending time in nature. These help me relax and enjoy a creative headspace.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS originally because I wanted to take a road trip around the US after university graduation in 2010. Instead I came to the Czech Republic after a job offer by my cousin's friend's cousin (haha).

If I'm not traveling, I enjoy meeting people in and around my area on this platform.

I would love to show people around as it's very easy for me to be in the center of sydney very quickly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to the ballet at the Sydney Opera House, a spontaneous haircut in downtown Warsaw, Poland with a woman who spoke little English, attending the High-line Festival in Poland with world famous high-liners. Playing darts in downtown Singapore, hiking to waterfalls in Cambodia, half moon party with my best friend in Thailand, hiking on the continental divide with my parents, sisters and cousins. Hiking for miles with an injured leg. Flying to Tennessee to surprise and friend for her birthday.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook with people. I can teach you yoga and aboit sociology if you're interested. I like to discuss meditation, world religion and healthy living. Learning more about perma culture, sustainable farming and no waste living is always welcome.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good music. Satasang. I can make you paintings and drawings. If you need help organizing or moving furniture I love to change an environment if it needs changing.
