Hello!

My name's Jey, and I'm an auditor living in London. I moved to London when I was 4 from South Korea, and have lived there ever since. Love to travel and have just got back from exploring Central America.

I'm a very laid back and optimistic person, almost to a fault some would say. When describing me, a lot of my friends say that I "laugh at everything", which I wouldn't disagree with. I can't help that I find most things funny! A big fan of good people, good food, good music and good vibes as it always creates good memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main reason is that I feel like the couchsurfing community as a whole have a similar outlook on life, and it's something I'd love to be part of! Everyone is keen to meet new people from different cultures and backgrounds, and I think it's a great platform for it as well as creating room for great stories and memories. Exploring a city can be a completely different experience with the help of a local's expertise, and I'd love to do the same for people who visit London.

Interests

I try to be a balanced individual. As my job involves a lot of numbers, I aim to maintain some creativity with my hobbies. I play the piano, and it's something that I really grew to love, and so I am a huge fan of live jazz bars and such. I love playing and watching sports -- a whole another side of me comes out when I play, a little too competitive perhaps.

I love seeing both the cultural and historical sides of a city. Museums, art galleries, historical sites are all very interesting to me. But I also love going to cool bars and getting a couple of good drinks during the evening. As an adrenaline junkie, I'm also up for trying anything new.

I listen to almost every genre of music except heavy metal.

I'm a huge film junkie. Some of my favourites are City of God, Good Will Hunting, Finding Nemo, Lion King, Django, Bridesmaids, and The Lord of The Rings trilogy.
